Struggle well with life.
It’s one of Church at Charlotte’s shaping values. If you are facing separation or divorce, finding people who understand what you are going through can be painful and it can be difficult to struggle well during this loss.
That’s why Church at Charlotte offers DivorceCare, a community of people who know what it’s like and can offer you support and encouragement.
What You Can Expect
DivorceCare meets on Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:30 p.m., throughout the year.
Weekly meetings are built around the DivorceCare curriculum and include small group discussion as well as video seminars from experts in separation, divorce, and recovery.
Each week’s material is self-contained, so you are welcome to start any time. If you wish to start at the beginning of a cycle, a new one starts on Wednesday, September 6.
The cost is $15 for materials (scholarships are available). This is a one-time cost.
Interested? Let us Know.
Please fill out a DivorceCare registration form here, and a member of our leadership team will be in touch with you soon. You are welcome to join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
Are your children angry, hurt, and confused about your separation or divorce? A DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) group is a safe, fun place where your children can learn skills that will help them heal. DC4K groups blend, games, music, stories, videos and discussion to help kids process the divorce and move forward.
DC4K is offered for children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.
We will hold our next DC4K session in the fall of 2017. A new 12-week session for DivorceCare for Kids begins Wednesday, September 6 and continues until November 29 (there will be no class November 22).
