It’s true. Kids really are a gift from God. But that doesn’t mean parenting is a walk in the park. Here at Church at Charlotte we know raising kids to be godly adults who are stirred by Scripture, struggle well with life, and serve others can be the hardest thing you’ll ever do.

That’s why Family Life is ready to encourage you and equip you from the moment your child enters your life to the moment he or she leaves home.

Partnering with Parents

Family Life wants to see entire families who are stirred by Scripture, struggle well with life, and serve others. That starts with the parents. So we offer a variety of events and have a range of resources to help us partner with parents to make the most impact.

PARENT FORUM

At 10:45 a.m. on Sundays, elementary-aged kids begin the Kidstuf FX experience in gender and age-specific classrooms under the guidance of adult volunteers. While they are in their classes, parents are invited to come together for our KidStuf Parent Forum—a community where parents can come together to share ideas, share struggles, and pray together. Coffee time begins at 10:45. At 11:22 a.m. kids join their parents in the Gym for our large-group worship experience.

PARENTING WORKSHOPS

Throughout the year we offer parenting workshops covering a broad range of topics to help equip you to handle issues that will inevitably come up as you raise your kids.

Adopt

Adoption is a powerful, tangible demonstration of God’s love and a living example of how we are brought into His family when we enter a relationship with Him.

With this in mind, Adopt (Church at Charlotte’s adoption ministry) desires to:

1.  Pray for those considering adoption and provide information on the process as well as the options available.
2.  Provide support, encouragement and resources to those actively involved in an adoption process.
3.  Promote adoption through testimony and education.

Abba Fund

The Abba Fund offers grants and loans to assist Church at Charlotte members needing financial aid to help make their adoption possible.

If you are interested, please click here to print the Abba Fund application, fill it out and return it to adoption@churchatcharlotte.org.

We will review your application and contact you to discuss your eligibility.
