Adoption Awareness Month

Posted on November 7, 2008 at 12:11pm. No Comments

At Church at Charlotte we have a ministry specifically designed for anyone interested in or going through adoption, EMBRACE.  Its mission is to ensure that children in need are protected, provided for and given an opportunity to hear the Gospel.

In addition to the the many services it offers, the EMBRACE ministry created the Church at Charlotte Adoption Assistance Fund for anyone considering or going through an adoption. The purpose of this fund is to provide interest free loans for families who are interested in adopting. Adoption costs can range from $2,500 to   $40,000, depending on the location and circumstances of the child being adopted. The objective in having this fund is to assist families in covering the initial cash flow burden associated with adoption.

If you are interested in contributing to this fund, please make your tax-deductible donation to Church at Charlotte Adoption Assistance Fund. To learn more about applying to the fund for assistance or volunteering with the EMBRACE ministry, contact Angel Rutledge at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

We also partner with Weaving Families, an organization dedicated to helping families learn more about the adoption process. Those interested in learning more about adoption can contact http://www.weavingfamilies.com.

Representatives from EMBRACE and Weaving Families will be at a table in the Courtyard this weekend to answer any questions you may have.
