Supported Missionaries: Phyllis Baughman and Fred and Dorothy Bruner

Phyllis Baughman (pictured above), her husband Willis and their children began their ministry with Wycliffe Bible Translators in 1953. As a family, they served for 39 years before Willis passed away in 1992. Phyllis then worked with JAARS until 1998. She is currently retired and serves at Church at Charlotte’s church plant, Glenstone Chapel.

Fred and Dorothy Bruner (pictured above) served as support personnel with Wycliffe Bible Translators from 1967 - 2002. They have served in Nepal, New Guinea, Indonesia, the Philippines and the Solomon Islands. The Bruner’s are now retired but are volunteering at the SIL center in Dallas, Texas.

Focus Country: China
Church at Charlotte has become increasingly more involved in China over the last few years. Today, we work with our main contact to bring resources and renewal to this nation through initiatives supported by our church. These initiatives include both financial resources as well as mission teams sent to minister and advance our involvement there. The next mission trip to China will be April 16-25.
