I am not normally up at 4am and certainly not with a clear, wide awake feeling but that has been the case the last two mornings. Jet lag and readjusting your body clock is a killer. I would like to tell you that it became a really productive time for me or that God spoke in some miraculous way - neither of those things happened. What I did find myself doing was praying. I thought of the brothers and sisters we had met on our trip and of the needs of friends and family here. I know that my time clock will straighten out. I pray that my desire to redeem moments like I have had will continue.

It has been a long time since I have written a blog. This time it has had nothing to do lack of desire but rather lack of access. As many of you know we have been on a short term missions trip in a country that heavily censors communication. In the interest of protecting our friends there I decided it was best not to blog. The trip was a great experience and to put it simply God is working, his kingdom is big and he is in control. We met some amazing people who have a joy that is enviable. I know that there will be more to process and as I do I will keep you posted.
