Struggling Well With Life

That old Carpenter’s song - “Rainy days and Mondays always get me down”, comes to mind today as fall has ushered in a cold wet morning.  But even though I totally forgot an early morning monthly prayer meeting, and started the day, the week, behind - I am not down, not bummed by the weather, and not beating myself up about missing the first appointment of the week.  God must be at work beneath the surface in this life of mine today - for this is uncharacteristically me.  In services yesterday we proclaimed in song that “Jesus is more than enough”, I am striving to live that out today.
