Serving Others

If you have recently started visiting CAC and stopped by the information booth for your free gift you should have received, along with Pastor Kallam’s book, a burlap bag filled with fair-trade (I’ll post another day on the benefits of fair-trade coffee) Ethiopian coffee.  The coffee comes from a great company called Give Half Cafe. 

The founders of the company give half of all profits to initiatives in Ethiopia including funding wells with Water is Life International.  Water is Life is also one of our key Ethiopian partners!  The burlap bags are handmade by women in Ethiopia who are connected with a ministry called Women at Risk.  The burlap bags provide an income for these women.
