Weaving Families Adoption Ministry is a non-profit ministry that supports families by consulting, counseling, educating and comforting throughout the adoption journey. Families who pursue adoption often struggle alone without professional resources and support, and it is for this reason that founders R.J. and Rebecca Caswell created this ministry to help anyone in the adoption process.

Weaving Families strives to ensure that families are well equipped to parent each adopted child, therefore they provide the following assistance:

Consulting and Counseling:
• Is adoption right for your family?
• Adoption after infertility
• Possible adoption avenues (domestic, international, foster to adopt, etc.)
• Adoption loss
• Navigating the adoption wait
• Considerations of adopted and biological siblings

Educating:
• Introduction to adoption
• Possible Adoption avenues (domestic, international, foster to adopt, etc.)
• Older child adoption
• Trans-racial/cross-cultural adoption considerations
• Understanding attachment and bonding
• Facilitating positive attachment across the ages

Comforting:
• Adoption loss
• Navigating the adoption wait
• Connecting with mentor families
• Support groups (moms, dads, siblings, grandparents/extended family)
