Stirred By The Scriptures

Well God answers Habakkuk’s second complaint, sort of. He doesn’t answer him directly but what he tells him are three very important things when it comes to walking with God. First is found in 2:4. God calls Habakkuk and us to TRUST HIM. We are not to live “puffed up” but by faith. It is a wonderful but scary place when we come to realize we have nothing to trust but God. I tend to fill my life with all the things that allow me to cope with life and never have to turn to the Lord. He simply wants us to trust him.
