Stirred By The Scriptures

Sin is an ugly word and an even uglier reality.  So often we try to stamp it out with renewed efforts, only to end up exhausted and sin still lurking.  I have been thinking about it recently and wondering if our usual approach is misguided. Perhaps my efforts need to be directed toward desiring a deeper thirst for Jesus.

“If anyone thirsts, let him come to me (Jesus) and drink.” Sin is ugly and it takes effort to keep it away - the question is where do I focus my efforts?
