Stirred By The Scriptures

If there was ever a day that seemed hopeless it was the Saturday after Jesus was crucified.  The gospels don’t record anything about where the disciples were, what they did or what they were thinking.  We know they were together on Easter morning when the two Marys came to tell them the tomb was empty but what about Saturday?  It had to be a day of dark hopelessness but in it all God was working.  They didn’t know that, couldn’t see it but God was working.  The same could be said for us today.  We live with uncertainty, confusion and sometimes despair.  Take hope - God is still working.
