Stirred By The Scriptures

Habakkuk tries to make sense of God and his ways. In verses 12 and 13 he responds first by reminding God of his attributes. God is everlasting, he is a Rock, he is pure and he is holy. So why God are you doing this? This makes no sense at all. Habakkuk lodges his complaint and then says he will wait for God’s answer. Have you ever felt like the path God has taken you down make no sense? That somehow God got it wrong with your life? Chapter two will address how God answers Habakkuk and we might find some answers for ourselves.
