Stirred By The Scriptures

God is in the business of redeeming, he always has been and he always will be. The good news of that truth is he is never done with pursuing us and showing us his love. The prophet Jeremiah said it this way. “The Lord appeared to us in the past saying: I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness. I will build you up again and you will be rebuilt…” I take great comfort in this. It is a good reminder to us that there are still chapters to be written in the book of our lives. I hope that none of us will close the book on someones life while chapters are still being written.
