Stirred By The Scriptures

I got up early this morning and read the paper. I guess I was hoping that the world might have known peace for just one day on Christmas. I wasn’t surprised to read it hadn’t. While every year we celebrate the birthday of the Prince of Peace we still long for the coming peace he will bring. There is however a peace that is available in each of our hearts, a peace that passes all understanding - the peace of a relationship with him. While in some ways it is hard to comprehend, it is all part of the kingdom that is now and is yet to come.
