Stirred By The Scriptures

We sang a song this weekend at all of our services that I found powerful and profound.  It speaks to the majesty of God.

“You’re the God of this city, You’re the king of these people, You’re the Lord of this nation - You are.”

I have been reflecting on these words and it drew my mind to the words of the Psalmist when he said in Psalm 19 - “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork.” We must never forget the greatness and power of the God we serve.  He is the ruler of all.
