Stirred By The Scriptures

Thanks, joy and praise - those three words are not front and center for most of us these days.  We are much more likely to dwell on fear, frustration and hopelessness given the state of the world around us.  However when the Psalmist tells us to shout for joy, to bring praise and have thankfulness in our hearts it is not for the circumstances we face but because of who God is.  I pray that today my mind and yours will be centered on the reality of the great God we serve.

“For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” - Psalm 100:5
