Stirred By The Scriptures

I very rarely add a second entry on my daily (almost) blog but I couldn’t let the day pass without remembering a friend of mine. Ten years ago today he left this world and went to heaven. I remember sitting in his hospital room and him asking me what I thought heaven was like. Together we imagined what was in store for him. He fought a courageous battle with leukemia supported by his mom and dad, his two sisters and a host of people who loved him. A decade has past and I still miss my friend. Some of you who are reading this know who I am talking about, to those who don’t - his name was William and he was 11 when he found out about heaven first hand and was wrapped up in the arms of Jesus. I still miss him.
