Stirred By The Scriptures

For a long time I have believed that relationships are important.  I also believe that the power of the gospel can effect tremendous change in how people relate to and treat each other.  One of the places in God’s Word where this is powerfully seen is the one chapter book of Philemon.  Philemon a slave owner and Onesimus a slave, more truthfully a run away slave.  Philemon who had no use for him and Onesimus who wanted to forget his past life.  But a funny thing happened - they were both to be challenged by Paul to demonstrate that the gospel went deeper than words - it included radical social change.  Where is it in your life that feels beyond the power of the gospel to change?
