“Different strokes for different folks” - I don’t know where the phrase originated but it really holds true. Some of you are great fixers of things, a broken engine, a leaky pipe, a bad breaker and all those “handy-man” items. I list all of those cause those are not my “strokes”. In fact they aren’t even in the ballpark. We are all different and that is alright. Each of us can bring our unique talents to bear on life, some of us are just still searching for what they might be. Yet with all the differences there are some things God expects of each of us who are his followers. We cannot opt out just because they might be diificult. I can take my car to a mechanic - but I need to demonstrate the Fruit of the Spirit. I can call a plumber to fix the pipe - but I need to treat others as more important than my own needs. An electrician can come and replace a bad breaker - but it is up to me to live thereality of the Gospel.
