Stirred By The Scriptures

Of all the chapters in the book of Proverbs, I love the 15th the best.  There are so many great truths for living life.  So we are going to camp out there this week and gain some insight on living life. 

“A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” - verse 1

If we all took this to heart we might seriously cut down on road rage.  The truth is that I am in constant need of a reminder to watch what I say.  It is so easy to hurt another person with the words I use.  Many times my harsh words are in an effort for justice to be gained, at least the sense of justice I believe is appropriate.  How much more could be achieved if I used a gentle word and pursued peace instead.
