Stirred By The Scriptures

Well God answers Habakkuk, does he ever.  “Look at the nations and watch - and be utterly amazed.” OK God I’m watching. “For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe even if you were told.” I can’t wait God, this is going to be wonderful. I have to believe that what God said next stunned Habakkuk in disbelief.  “I am raising up the Babylonians, that ruthless and impetuous people, who sweep across the whole earth to seize dwelling places not their own.” Ever say this to God -“This isn’t exactly the answer I was looking for.” It is a reminder to me that our God will not be controled by our ways.
