Child Dedications

No one will have more influence on your child than you! We believe what happens at home is more important than what happens at church, and it is our hope that we can partner with you from the very beginning. We want to be your biggest fans, your strongest supporters and your trusted guides as you raise your child to know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

As one of our Milestone events, Church at Charlotte Kids offers parents the opportunity to dedicate their children during one of our Child Dedication services each year.

We’re interested. What is the first step?

All parents interested in dedicating their children are required to attend a dedication class where we cover what we believe about dedication in more detail. You may register for our Child Dedication Family Service on March 24, 2019 at our SouthPark campus. A required parent class is scheduled for March 10, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. in W-6 at our SouthPark campus.

We want to learn more before we sign up.

To learn more about Child Dedication at Church at Charlotte SouthPark, read these answers to some frequently asked questions. If you have any further questions after reading, please contact Children’s Ministry.

Dedication is thanking God for the child He has given you and asking for His help in raising him or her. It is an act of worship, dependence and commitment.

But it is more than just an event. It’s an opportunity for you to take some time at the beginning of your journey as a parent to think about what will matter most in the life of your child; to decide what you will value and what you can do today to have the greatest impact on your child’s future.
