Lent Day Twenty-Four

Church at Charlotte Contagious Hope

Thank you for participating in our daily readings during this lenten season. We invite you to take time to read and reflect on the passages we send each day.

This week as we read, we focused on the idea of living generously and encouraged you to live generously by sharing the most generous gift, the story of the gospel, with a friend. If you have done so, share that story with a trusted friend and pray together for the Spirit to work in the heart where you planted a seed. We hope you’ll invite friends who don’t know Jesus to join you for Easter services this weekend, as well.

Today, we read together from Romans in preparation for the teaching we will hear this weekend at church. There will be no text on Sunday, April 1.

Romans 8:37-39

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
